Phil started his radio career as a DJ in the 70s, beginning his talk career in 1990. The Phil Hendrie Show is known for its unique and controversial guests, who are actually fictional characters created and voiced by Hendrie himself.
His views are unique for modern talk radio. A registered Democrat who vocally supported Bill Clinton, he voted for Al Gore over George W. Bush, and both Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale over Ronald Reagan. At the same time, he supports troops in Iraq and the War on Terror. Phil voted for and supported George W. Bush and feels that Bush will someday be viewed as one of the country's greatest presidents.
Phil Hendrie has lent his vocal talents to several animated FOX sitcoms including The King of the Hill and Futurama, and the major motion picture Team America: World Police.
