Not again...

So let me get this straight. Governor Deval Patrick said today that he had been briefed by the Joint Terrorist Task Force on the pending FBI raids that led to arrests of two men - who are believed to be in the country illegally - days ago. He announced that he was aware that a house in Watertown would be the subject of a federal search warrant and a gas station in Brookline.
But our Governor just two days ago said anyone who was worried about illegal immigrants in the Commonwealth, in Arizona, or anywhere else were just "stirring up fear." The remarks, made in an interview with the Globe that ran two days ago, seem outlandish considering that three men who sympathize with extremists who are accused of having ties to murderous terrorist groups have now been arrested in Massachusetts. Boston's Boycott

What I Want from MY City Council

Posted 5/4/2010 12:49:00 PM
Do you know what I want from my City Councilors? Clean streets in East Boston. Businesses brought back to Downtown Crossing. Support for police details and the Quinn Bill. Do you know what I don't want my highly-paid City Councilors to do? Waste taxpayer time with feable attempts to change national or international policy.
City of Boston residents have already tolerated a resolution to end the war in Iraq. Okay City Councilor Chuck Turner - the brainchild of that complete nonsense regarding thew ar in Iraq - you are not a federal lawmaker. In fact, you are an accused law breaker who was photographed by the FBI with a fistful of $100 bills that feds are calling a bribe.
And now we have ...
