So let me get this straight. Governor Deval Patrick said today that he had been briefed by the Joint Terrorist Task Force on the pending FBI raids that led to arrests of two men - who are believed to be in the country illegally - days ago. He announced that he was aware that a house in Watertown would be the subject of a federal search warrant and a gas station in Brookline.
    But our Governor just two days ago said anyone who was worried about illegal immigrants in the Commonwealth, in Arizona, or anywhere else were just "stirring up fear." The remarks, made in an interview with the Globe that ran two days ago, seem outlandish considering that three men who sympathize with extremists who are accused of having ties to murderous terrorist groups have now been arrested in Massachusetts.
