Couple Crashes the White House

I admit to being astounded by the number of otherwise sensible people who regard the tresspass of that Baloon Boy II couple into the White House, and into the immediate company of the President, first lady, Vice President, er. al.
It may or may not have been criminal for the two nutballs to crash the party (and may or may not be prosecuted if it is), but it is certainly a crime that the WH failed to catch/stop them. This was as serious a violation of Presidential security as is known in many years. That Mr. and Mrs. Fruitcake did not harm the POTUS is entirely unimportant. They could have, and our entire Secret Service is today an international joke for permitting it.
P.S. does it strike anyone as even remotely significant that the interloper's name(s) was Islamic? No fault to him implied - but the Secret Service let an unknown Muslim-named man swan right up to the POTUS in person. I suspect this story will be of particular interest in Al Jazeera territory.
And it illustrates how incompetent at Everything (including their own safety) is this administration.
