Coakley's Last Stand?

Martha Coakley uttered many silly things last night - but she lost more than the debate; said one thing that is so ignorant, so shameful, that is must be disregarded as absolutely Disqualifying for the seat she seeks to hold.
Remember (or trust me) the biggest boner, among many, of the Gerald Ford campaign? It was the moment, coincidentally during a big debate, when Ford said, ridiculously, that "the people of Poland are not dominated by the USSR". At the time, of course, Russia had Poland behind the Iron Curtain, entirely enslaved. At that moment, many people concluded on the spot Gerald Ford was too ill-informed to be President.
Which brings us to General Coakley. Last night - Coakley's Last Stand? - she rushed to blurt out the following ludicrous claim: "there are no more Taliban in Afghanistan." Indeed?
Because at the very moment she said so, the Taliban were killing three American soldiers in Afghanistan - bringing to ten the number of Americans killed this month...By The Taliban in Afghanistan.
Ineptitude is one thing. But ignorance and arrogance like Coakley's renders her unfit for this office.
Last night we lost 3 heros - and Martha Coakley lost the respect the voters of this Commonwealth.
