WILL SCOTT BE SEATED TODAY? NOT SO FAST...

As advocated in this space, the crucial importance of Scott Brown's assuming his Senate seat - and casting votes - has prevailed, and Scott Brown has determined that sooner is better than later.
But wait a second.
I hear there has been since yesterday Enormous pressure on Dem leader Harry Reid to further delay seating Scott Brown. Why?
Because the left, still fuming and bleeding over loss of the "Kennedy Seat" wants Reid to put up a fight, if only symbolically, and sit on this for a few more days.
But there is more: the next (today? tomorrow?) Senate vote will be an up/down vote on the latest Obam-unist Cabinet Nominee - a former hard left labor lawyer to serve as head of National Labor Relations Board.
And that nomination is likely to stand or die based on a single vote. Will it be Scott Brown's? Or Kennedy stooge Kirk's final gift to the left?
Obama wants his man, and the kook left wants what Obama wants.
And that is why - whether to be vindictive to please his base, or to prevent Scott Brown from sinking this nominee - there remains a chance Hayry Reid might just still pull the plug on Scott Brown's swearing-in today.
Would such a petty, transparent, partisan, ugly act provoke outrage from the Best and Brightest?
Yes.
But is Team Obama capable of it?
Yes.
